Nejin Chacko received his bachelor degree in physiotherapy in 1998 and has completed extensive continuing education in manual therapy, sports medicine, orthopedics and acupuncture. He has completed his Masters in Advanced Orthopaedic Manipulative Physiotherapy from McMaster University, Hamilton. He also holds a Masters in Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise from the University of Glasgow and University of Strathclyde, UK. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manual Therapists and a member of Orthopaedic Division of Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Nejin has been practicing for 20 years and has extensive experience in private practice treating various musculoskeletal conditions, sport injuries, chronic pain, workplace injuries, and motor vehicle accident injuries. Nejin believes that a successful treatment must result in the achievement of an optimal function that is meaningful to the patient. He ensures patient-centered care and values patient education and interactive clinical decision making. Besides his clinical work, Nejin is an Assistant Clinical Professor (Adjunct) in the School of Rehabilitation Science at McMaster University, Hamilton where he tutors in the graduate physiotherapy program.
