Colin Wiseman is a Dartmouth, NS native and resident. Colin completed his Masters of Science Degree in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie in 2013. Colin also holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Memorial University, graduating with Honours in research of flexibility and sprint performance while earning Dean’s list accreditation.
Since graduating Colin has focused on continuing education to further improve clinical skills. He has completed a Masters of Clinical Science of Advanced Clinical Practice in Manipulative and Manual Therapy through the University of Western Ontario, where he completed research in conjunction with the Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Clinic involving Return to Sport guidelines post-ACL Reconstruction.
Colin’s clinical approach optimizes health and performance by focusing on manual therapy, consistent patient education, and functional training. He also has an appreciation of human movement and performance via participation in various athletics including running, basketball, and cross training.
Colin has advanced training in Concussion screening, assessment, and rehabilitation; an area of specific interest within his caseload.rnrnColin is licensed with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists and is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s orthopedic division. Colin has also acted as an evaluator for the Canadian Physiotherapy Competency Examination at the Halifax site.
Away from the clinic, Colin loves to spend time with friends, family, his wife Catherine and their bulldog Rosie.
