B.Sc.P.T.
I am a high achieving, caring individual with a diverse skill set and a variety of interests. In the year 2000, I entered the physiotherapy program at the University of Alberta directly from high school. As a dedicated student committed to excellence, I graduated from the program at the top of my class in 2004. Upon graduation, I immediately followed my interest in treating musculoskeletal injuries and started working in private practice. Over the past 14 years, I have become known by patients and colleagues for my high level manual therapy skillset and effective treatment approaches. In 2008, I completed the Advanced Diploma of Manual and Manipulative Therapy, which enables me to utilize highly specialized treatment techniques for a variety of injuries. In addition to the time I spend treating patients, I am a busy mother of two young boys. I find balance through artistic self expression, through writing, painting and photography. Living in Vancouver, my boys and I enjoy easy access to hiking trails, the beach, and Whistler. Whether it is through physiotherapy or other activities, the most important thing to me is being of service to people and contributing to my community. This has fundamentally shaped my approach to treating patients and drives me to continue a journey of life-long-learning in all that I do.
