I began my post-secondary educational journey in 1987 when I graduated with a Fitness Specialist Certificate from George Brown College (where I also met my very supportive husband.) Next, I received my Diploma in Honours Standing in Physical Education from Western in 1994. I continued with the first of a two-year Master’s degree in Philosophy of Sport at Western, and subsequently transferred to the B.H.Sc. in Physiotherapy program at McMaster, which I completed in 1997. I have been working in the private sector since 1997. Recently becoming a co-owner in a new clinic (Physiotherapy Alliance) in Goderich. Treating orthopedic injuries, including pre- and post-surgical treatment, sports injuries, work injury, WSIB and motor vehicle accident clients, stroke, brain injuries and concussions. Throughout my work life, I have continued to upgrade my skills and knowledge by taking a variety of physiotherapy continuing-education courses. Recently (July 2014) completing my MClSc (Manipulative Therapy) at University of Western Ontario.
