David J. Evans is an orthopaedic and manipulative physiotherapist with 2 decades of postgraduate experience in orthopaedics, sports medicine and manipulative therapy. Trained in acupuncture with AFCI. Originally trained in the UK, David moved to Canada and continued his postgraduate orthopaedic studies and practice. As well as a respected clinician, David was an instructor for the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association in postgraduate manual and manipulative therapy education from 1996 to 2011. He has expertise and interest in all orthopaedic, sports medicine and musculoskeletal disorders; has held former National Team physiotherapy appointments with Swimming Canada, Rugby Canada & Squash Canada. He was appointed as a physiotherapist at the University of Toronto David L. Macintosh Sport Medicine Clinic 1989-1994 before founding his current clinic with Danny Kuzmich PT. East Toronto Orthopaedic & Sports Injury Clinic offers comprehensive treatment of all musculoskeletal disorders and sports medicine for both traumatic, insidious or exercise related injuries. The clinic is open 7am to 8pm, and clinic hosts the practices of 10 skilled physiotherapists, several of whom are manipulative physiotherapists.
