Louise Ashcroft holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (1983) from the University of Alberta. She obtained her Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy in 1995, and her Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy in 1998. She completed her Certificate in Acupuncture (CAFCI) in 2000. She joined the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy as a resident in December 2005 and completed her fellowship in 2007. In addition to clinical work as a Sport Physio, she is a Clinical Instructor with the Saskatchewan College of Medicine, and the physiotherapy consultant to Saskatchewan Government Auto Insurance (injury/rehabilitation division). She also has attended numerous multisport games as a member of Team Canada’s Medical Team.
Louise has a special interest in postural and movement related pain disorders, particularly as they relate to repetitive activities involved in sport, recreation and music.
