Iveta graduated from York University in 1992 with an Honors degree in Kinesiology. A year later she earned a Masters degree in Biomechanics from the University of Windsor. She then attended McMaster University and graduated with Distinction in 2000 with a Bachelor of Health Science degree in Physiotherapy. Since then Iveta has completed numerous courses in manual therapy, earning an Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy, becoming a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). Iveta has also completed number of courses in acupuncture, pelvic floor physiotherapy, TMJ dysfunctions and lymphatic drainage, becoming certified in complex decongestive therapy. Since 2011, Iveta’s focus has been on vestibular rehabilitation. In 2014, Iveta attended Emory University in Atlanta, obtaining a certificate in vestibular rehabilitation, and in 2015 she completed an Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation course at the University of Pittsburgh.
Iveta is currently working in a private clinic in Snow Valley, just outside of Barrie, and in Orillia. Her practice is very diverse and consists of assessment and treatment of patients with concussions, vertigo, dizziness and disequilibrium, lymphedema patients, patients with TMJ dysfunctions, women and men with pelvic floor difficulties (pain, incontinence), pelvic and sacroiliac joint issues, post-partum patients, and patients with various musculo-skeletal dysfunctions.
When not working, Iveta enjoys outdoor activities with her family especially skiing and biking.
