Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology, Masters of Science in Physical Therapy
After completing an honours bachelor degree in Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University, Jay graduated with a Master 's in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto in 2010. Since graduation, Jay has worked in a variety of orthopaedic settings with a strong focus on manual therapy and a hands-on approach.rnrnJay has taken extensive coursework in acupuncture (AFCI), functional dry needling (Kinetacore), functional movement screening, and manual therapy. Jay completed his Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2017 and is a Fellow with the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT).rnrnJay has a particular interest in working with athletes. He has experience working with athletes of all levels, from the common recreational athlete to professional athletes. Jay plans to complete coursework in the area of sport-specific training, which will help him get athletes back to the sport they love even faster.rnrnOutside of the clinic, Jay remains an avid sports fan and leads an active lifestyle that includes hockey, cycling, soccer, ultimate frisbee, basketball, and volleyball.
