Jesse holds an undergraduate degree in kinesiology and exercise science and a masters of science degree in physiotherapy from Queen’s University. He uses a systematic approach to treating both acute and chronic pain that incompasses movement screening, dry needling, joint mobilization/manipulation, soft tissue release and a tailored exercise program directed at treating the chief complaint. Pain science is a cornerstone of his practice and he is a firm believer in educating each patient about the nature of pain, making sure to avoid fear inducing language. He has training in the McKenzie Method for back pain, Selective Functional Movement Assessemnt (SFMA) and is a Titelist Golf Fitness Professional. Jesse is a hands on therapist that genuinely strives to makes patients active participants in their care. rnWhen not at work Jesse can be found playing basketball or at the gym weight training. He is also a part time lab assistant at the University of Toronto School of Phyiscal Therapy where he teaches students orthopaedics.
