I graduated from the physiotherapy program at McMaster University in 2008. Prior to this I completed my Bachelor of Science in Bio-medical Science at Guelph University in 2005 (Go Gryphons!).
Since then I have completed extensive postgraduate education in manual and manipulative therapy (https://manippt.org/), which is the highest level of orthopaedic physiotherapy training in Canada. This allows me to not only treat your pain, but to determine it\’s root cause and prevent it from recurring.
I am certified in dry needling and acupuncture. I find acupuncture can be an amazing addition to treatment, by decreasing pain and accelerating your natural healing process.
I also have training in vestibular therapy. Vestibular therapy can treat symptoms of vertigo, dizziness and altered balance. A common condition treated with this type of therapy is BPPV.
I have 13 years of experience treating a variety of injuries and conditions, including sports injuries, motor vehicle accidents, post surgical rehab, chronic neck and back pain, and anything in between!
I have worked and lived in New Tecumseth for 9 years. I truly love the sense of community in a small town. I live with my husband, two girls and our dog Ruxin. I can often be found spending time outdoors with my favourite people, hiking, swimming or gardening.
