Mark completed his physiotherapy degree at McMaster University in 1998, after obtaining his MSc in Exercise Physiology in 1993 and BA/BPHE in 1990, both from Queen’s University. Mark and his wife Hilary own Grand River Physiotherapy (established 1999) in Fergus, ON, where they work with 4 other physiotherapists treating patients with a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Mark is keenly interested in using manual therapy to correct movement dysfunction and pain in the spine, peripheral joints and associated soft tissues. He emphasizes education, helping patients fully understand the nature of their injury or condition so that they can regain their independance through self-management, including home stretching, strengthening and stability exercises. Mark believes strongly in continuing education, having expanded his clinical interests to include vestibular (vertigo) rehabilitation, concussion management, GunnIMS and scalp acupuncture. Mark enjoys keeping fit and spending time outdoors with Hilary and their two sons. He remains passionate about sports (triathlons, running, hockey, soccer and golf), and is active coaching his sons in lacrosse and hockey.

Karina completed her BA in Honours Kinesiology at Redeemer University College in 2003 and her Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of Western Ontario in 2005. She completed her Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Therapy from the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association in 2013. Other post graduate training includes courses in acupuncture (Level 1 AFCI) and the shoulder (Level 1 Lyn Watson). She has been working at Grand River Physiotherapy, a private, outpatient orthopedic clinic located in Fergus, since 2005.

Hilary has always had an interest in manual therapy since graduating from McMaster University in 1996. She now owns Grand River Physiotherapy in Fergus, Ontario with her husband Mark. They moved to a brand new clinic early in 2004 where they work with 4 other physiotherapists. They see a wide variety of spinal conditions, sports injuries, motor vehicle injuries and shoulder conditions. They also specialize in treating dizziness and vertigo. Hilary has drawn on her teaching background (University of Western Ontario, 1994) to help patients understand their condition or injury, help them with the best possible treatment options and educate patients on preventing a reoccurance of their particular injury. Since passing her advanced manual therapy exams in 2003, Hilary is looking forward to continually upgrading her manipulation skills as well as taking more courses of clinical interest. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her two busy boys, running 5km races, photography, and reading

Caitlin is an CAMPT-Certified Physiotherapist who applies an impressive academic foundation of over 10 years clinical experience to assess and treat musculoskeletal conditions; with a focus on rehabilitating back pain, tempromandibular (jaw) joint pain and paediatric patients.
Caitlin earned her Honours in Kinesiology degree with a minor in Health Studies at McMaster University, before completing her Master’s in Physiotherapy from Queen’s University in 2007.
Upon completion of her Physiotherapy degree, Caitlin enhanced her manual therapy skills, by completing her Master’s in Clinical Science in Manipulative Therapy from the University of Western Ontario (UWO) in 2010. Building on the completion of this Master’s program, Caitlin then earned her Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Therapy from the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, making Caitlin a CAMPT-Certified Physiotherapist and Fellow in the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). As a CAMPT-Certified Physiotherapist, Caitlin has received the highest training in orthopaedic physiotherapy.
During her time at the UWO, Caitlin collaborated with a group of researchers to publish her first publication in the journal Physiotherapy Canada. She continues to work alongside the UWO by assisting in their Clinical Master’s program in the skills labs and mock examinations.
After working for a few years in private orthopaedic practice, Caitlin’s further enhanced her skill set by completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2015. This degree has enabled Caitlin to incorporate laboratory analysis, pharmacological interactions and diagnostic imaging into her clinical practice.
Caitlin was born and raised in Elora. After leaving for school and work, she then returned in 2011 where she now resides with her family. When not at work, Caitlin embraces every moment spent with her 2 kids, supportive husband and their dog. And if time permits, she is always up for a good long run!

Ashlea obtained her Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree with a minor in Health Studies from McMaster University, and continued her education at the University of Toronto completing her Master of Science in Physical Therapy.
Ashlea is committed to ongoing learning and has also earned her Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Therapy from the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She is a CAMPT-Certified Physiotherapist and is a Fellow in the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). By completing this rigorous post-graduate training, she has attained internationally recognized qualifications in orthopaedic theory, clinical reasoning and hands-on manual therapy skills. She has also completed further training with a focus on shoulder rehabilitation.
Ashlea also has extensive neurofunctional acupuncture training through the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program at McMaster University. This acupuncture training is an University-based education program designed for qualified health professionals interested in integrating electroacupuncture into their practice. Ashlea has seen continued benefits from incorporating this specialized type of acupuncture into the treatments for her patients.
Ashlea has provided primary physiotherapy care for many notable Toronto events including the Toronto Ultimate Club summer championships; was a Dance and Performing Arts Treatment provider, and she was the head physiotherapist providing treatment at the Princess of Wales Theatre for the Toronto productions of Priscilla Queen of the Desert and HAIR.
In addition to her breadth of experience, she is also trained to assess, measure and fit patients with off-the-shelf and custom braces for conditions varying from, knee osteoarthritis, ACL injuries, patellofemoral pain, ligament instabilities and meniscal injuries.
Ashlea loves what she does and strives to provide each patient with individualized, research-guided treatment. Her focus incorporates her advanced manual therapy techniques, electroacupuncture and specific exercise prescription. When she in not at the clinic, she is running around with her two little boys, husband and dog! She loves to stay active working out, playing baseball and if she ever has time again, golfing!
Jackie Sinkeldam graduated in 1996 from McMaster University. She is a founding partner of Eramosa Physiotherapy Associates. Professionally her clinical interest lies in the treatment of the shoulder, back and knee injuries. She has been actively involved with evaluating the literature in these three key areas and developing evidence-based programs to offer the most evidence based treatment for their patients. In addition to her orthopaedic practice, she also has provided treatment for female and male pelvic health.

Graduate of the University of Western Ontario in 1995. Have worked in the USA and Canada in acute care hospital and orthopaedic clinic settings. Co-own 2 orthopaedic clinics in Guelph, Ontario for the past 16 years. Involved in direct patient care, clinic administration and student training/education.

Kristin graduated with a Bachelors of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy from McMaster University with honours in 1999. She then returned to Guelph, a city of which she had always been fond, since completing her honours Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph in 1994. Kristin has worked as a Registered Physiotherapist for Eramosa Physiotherapy Associates (EPA) for the past 18 years, and also been the Clinic Manager/Partner for for the last 13 years. Through her dedication to ongoing education, she has expanded her post graduate orthopaedic knowledge by successfully completing her Diploma of Intermediate Manual and Manipulative Therapy in 2002 and her Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy in 2004. In 2009 Kristin completed her Master’s of Clinical Science in Manipulation at the University of Western Ontario with research including the development of a systematic review of pre-operative physiotherapy on total knee and hip arthroplasty. Her interest in women’s health and evidence based practice lead to the development of EPA’s Post Breast Cancer Program, which has had rave reviews from physicians and patients alike in how it individually addresses the needs of those who have had mastectomies/lumpectomies with the goal of returning to previous activity. Her commitment to professional development has lead to her involvement as a Professional Associate within McMaster’s Physiotherapy Programme where she teaches orthopaedic clinical skills annually to the master’s students enrolled. Kristin is also credentialing as a Co-Instructor within the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s post-graduate manual therapy system and is a mentor to physiotherapists preparing for their Intermediate and Advanced examinations. She also assisted in development of and teaches in the University of Guelph’s new fourth year “Anatomy in Motion” seminar class and has been a guest lecturer in the fourth year Clinical Biomechanics class. Kristin continues to have a strong interest in orthopaedics, including the spine, shoulder and knee however also stays up to date with current changes in practice regarding treatment for women post breast cancer.

Andrew is a graduate of the University of Waterloo and D’Youville College in Buffalo. Andrew was born and raised in Guelph and has been working for Eramosa Physiotherapy Associates for 9 years and has been a partner in the company for the last 2 years. In addition to having his Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy, Andrew has furthered his education by completing his AFCI Acupuncture Levels 1, 2A, 3A. His treatment techniques include the use of Manual Therapy, Specialized Exercise, Soft Tissue Release and Acupuncture. His clinical interests include shoulder, ankle/foot, post-surgical rehab, and sport injury rehab.

Graduated from UWO Physiotherapy program in 2008. Complete my Advanced Exam and received my FCAMPT membership in 2014. Currently working at Wellington Ortho and Rehab in Guelph where I live with my wife and children.

Brett is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario with over 16 years experience in the field of orthopaedic and sports physiotherapy. After working in sports physiotherapy clinics in the U.K., Brett obtained his Masters of Manual Therapy from the University of Western Australia in Perth, Australia. He has extensive post-graduate training in manual therapy and acupuncture. His clinical areas of interest include concussion management, the ankle, knee and spine.



Practicing in Waterloo,Ontario treating a multitude of sports and general orthopaedics. Clientele of all ages. Special interests are hockey, football, golf, cycling and skating.



Craig completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Wilfrid Laurier University in 2003, followed by his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University in 2006. At the post-graduate level, Craig has completed his Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Therapy from the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. He also has his certification in acupuncture from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute. Craig has additional post-graduate training in golf rehabilitation, myofascial release, McKenzie Lumbar spine therapy (MDT), and shoulder and knee rehabilitation.
Over the last four years, Craig has taught at McMaster University as a tutor in their physiotherapy program. He is involved in their Fundamentals of PT Practice and Integrated Practice & Professional Transition units. Craig is currently the clinical skills development lead at South City Physiotherapy.
Craig’s treatment philosophy involves using manual therapy and functional exercise to improve performance and prevent injury recurrence. Craig has a particular interest in treating runners, young athletes and complex shoulder conditions. He has experience in treating many individuals ranging from professional athletes to the weekend warriors.
Lisa graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts (Kinesiology) degree in 2006. She continued to graduate studies at McMaster University and completed her Masters degree in Physiotherapy in 2009. For the last four years, Lisa has also been working as an assistant clinic professor in the Physiotherapy Department at McMaster University. In addition to teaching and clinic work, Lisa completed her Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Therapy, Dry Needling certification, and Acupuncture (AFCI) training. Currently, Lisa is pursuing additional studies in pelvic health and shoulder rehabilitation.Lisa has worked in a clinical setting since 2009 and is experienced working with a wide range of conditions and populations. She believes that the journey to a successful therapeutic outcome for her patients, starts with a comprehensive assessment to gain an understanding of the condition, the patient’s goals, preferences, and needs. She uses a combination of evidence-based techniques, clinical reasoning, and patient values to develop unique treatment plan for each patient. Lisa provides an integrated and personal approach to patient care, which can include manual therapy, acupuncture, dry needling, patient education, and a progressive exercise program. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys yoga, interval and strength training, running, home renovations, and world travel.

Rabi graduated from the University of Toronto in 1996 with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) Award for Clinical and Academic Excellence. He has practiced physiotherapy in a variety of clinical settings but he has been based in the orthopaedic private practice setting since 2000. He has a special focus on sports-related injuries as the physiotherapist of the Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club since 2001. He also received a Certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of the Spine from the McKenzie Institute International in 2000, completed the Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy from the Orthopaedic Division of the CPA in 2004, and became certified by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute in 2009. In 2012, Rabi graduated from the Discover Physio Series instructed by Diane Lee and Dr. Linda-Joy Lee. These two clinicians are at the forefront of research and teaching in orthopedics in Canada. He has been an assistant instructor with Discover Physio teaching the Thoracic Ring Approach (LJ Lee) and the Integrated Systems Model for Disability & Pain (Lee and Lee) since early 2013. Rabi is also a certified practitioner in Gunn Intra-Muscular Stimulation (Gunn IMS) through the University of British Columbia and for concussion assessment and management by Complete Concussion Management Inc.



Scott Graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1994. He completed his diploma of manipulative therapy in 1999. His professional focus lies in the treatment of neuro-muskuloskeletal disorders of the spine, pelvis, hip, and shoulder. He is currently credentialed as an instructor, examiner, and chairs the education committee for the manual therapy post-graduate education system of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.


Anne graduated from McMaster University in 2008 and completed her diploma in manipulative therapy in 2014. Anne worked for 6 years as a manual therapist in Fergus, Ontario and has recently moved to Manual Concepts Physiotherapy in Guelph, Ontario. Anne enjoys an active lifestyle including running, biking, skiing and cross training. Anne looks forward to embracing her role as a mentor within the orthopedic division.

Stephanie graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours degree in Kinesiology. She then went on to McMaster University to obtain her Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy. She worked in Orangeville in a private orthopedic clinic for five years before returning to her hometown of Guelph and joining the Manual Concepts team. Since graduating Stephanie has completed courses in manual therapy, acupuncture, Mulligan mobilizations, myofasical release, and exercise prescription. She successfully obtained her CAFCI certification and GUNN Intramuscular Stimulation certification. Her clinic areas of interest include the shoulder and neck.
