Orsi is an empathetic and dedicated physiotherapist in downtown Toronto. She has experience in treating a variety of orthopaedic conditions ranging from sport to repetitive strain impairments, with a special interest in running injuries. Orsi is well versed in kinesiology, with extensive knowledge of sport-specific movement patterns, biomechanics, and technique.
She is passionate about educating her clients about their condition and firmly believes in finding the root cause of the injury. Orsi includes clients as active participants in their recovery process in order to achieve sustainable success. Through evidence-informed practice, Orsi uses a combination of education, manual therapy, exercise prescription and acupuncture to ensure clients receive the best available care and reach their full potential.
Orsi graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario, where she also completed a thesis-based Master of Science in physiotherapy. Furthermore, she holds a Masters in Physical Education from Semmelweis University, Hungary.
As a firm believer in life-long learning, she is regularly taking post-graduate courses in order to provide the most up-to-date and highest quality treatment for her clients. She successfully completed her Advanced Diploma and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy.
She has also taken courses in running injury prevention and treatment, acupuncture, soft tissue mobilization, McKenzie method and Mulligan concept.
Outside of work Orsi is an avid runner, but you can find her in the gym, or in the yoga room. She recently became a fan of fitness Pilates as a result of a shoulder injury! She also enjoys the outdoors, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her dog, Stella.
