Sean Buckley graduated from the Dalhousie University School of Physiotherapy in 2000. He passed his Intermediate Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative exam in April 2003, then went on to complete his Diploma in Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy in November 2003.
Sean is trained to perform acupuncture and trigger point dry needling and he has completed many post graduate courses on assessment and treatment of neck and shoulders. Other courses Sean has completed safe spinal manipulation and advanced exercise prescription.
Working in conjunction with a patients’ family doctor, Waverley Road Physiotherapy and Health Care Centre’s experienced professionals help patients improve and manage their current condition. Education on self management is the primary focus of our treatments. Sean’s priority is patient care by providing treatments and plans which fit the needs, abilities and lifestyles of his patients.
Sean’s clinical approach is to optimize movement using hands on treatment, education and providing appropriate exercises to facilitate proper movement patterns.
