Serah graduated from the University of Alberta with Honors from the Physical Therapy Program in 2000. She has experience with a large variety of patients having worked at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital in Edmonton, Workers Compensation Board/Millard Health in Edmonton in specialized programs for acute, occupational rehab and repetitive strain injuries before working in a prominent Yorkville orthopedic and sports clinic for a dozen years. Currently, Serah is physiotherapist and co-owner of Striowski & Associates Physiotherapy. Serah has volunteered her time with various organizations: a medical team to Cambodia as a physiotherapist, volunteer physiotherapist for the 2001 World Track and Field Championships, the Ontario Physiotherapy Association, the Running Room as a speaker, and the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario . Serah is committed to lifelong learning which is evident through her McKenzie training, Medical Acupuncture Certification, Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation Certification, and Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Therapy and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy. Serah has an interest in pelvic physiotherapist treating incontinence (urinary and fecal), pelvic pain conditions, and pre and post natal pelvic dysfunctions. She has been a speaker about pelvic physiotherapy for the staff at North York General on multiple occassions.
