Ali graduated from McMaster University in 1997. He has taken numerous courses in manual therapy, acupuncture and Gunn method of needling. He received his Canadian Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) in 2003. He incorporates a wide range of techniques including mobilization, manipulation, spinal stabilization exercises, neural tissue mobilization, acupuncture and Intramuscular Muscle Stimulation (Gunn IMS). He has extensive experience in private practice with keen interest in spinal disorder and acute and chronic sports related injuries. He is also an Instructor in the post-graduate Diploma Program of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. He is a co-owner of Prime Physiotherapy and Sports Rehabilitation Centre since 2001.
