Bachelor of Science, Human Kinetics. Master of Health Sciences Physiotherapy. Master of Clinical Science, Manipulative Therapy
I graduated from The University of Ottawa in 2009 with an honours degree in Human Kinetics and in 2011 with a Masters in Physiotherapy. I completed the University of Western Ontario's Masters in Clinical Science in Manipulative Therapy in 2015. My area's of interest include a variety of sport, spinal and running injuries. I have taken the "New trends in the Prevention of Running Injuries course" and am a specialist in the area. Another area of interest for me is vestibular rehabilitation. I have pursued post-graduate courses in this area (including attending Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia) and treat patients that have BPPV, vestibular neuritis, labyrinthitis and a variety of vestibular hypofunctions. I have also completed post graduate training in Acupuncture, dry needling and GUNN IMS. I use these skills on a regular basis in my practice. Keeping up to date with current evidence and implementing it into daily practice is essential. Using a combination of treatment approaches, including manual therapy, and individualizing patient treatment plans is the goal of my practice. Allowing patients to recognize their issue(s) and work towards their goal(s) is fundamental.
