David has over 35 years of expertise in the treatment and rehabilitation of orthopaedic conditions, sport related injury and musculoskeletal pain and movement problems. He is available on a full-time basis to offer services in his areas of expertise. He completed physiotherapy training in the UK in 1985, and worked there until taking a position at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto in 1987. David was a staff physiotherapist at the University of Toronto David L. Macintosh Sport Medicine Clinic from 1989 to 1994. He held National Team physiotherapy appointments with Swimming Canada, Rugby Canada, and Squash Canada. He opened East Toronto Physiotherapy with a partner in 1994, and Trilogy Physiotherapy in 2003. In 2020, the practice group was acquired by Lifemark Health. In addition to his clinical practice, David was a postgraduate instructor of manual and manipulative therapy for the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association from 1996 until 2011. He is acknowledged by his peers as an expert in the field of manual therapy in physiotherapy practice. He was trained in acupuncture by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute from 1988 onwards. David was awarded 2010 in the University of Toronto Physical Therapy Practitioner Exceptional Achievement Award and was a Lead Medical Professional for the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games. David is registered to practice physiotherapy with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and rostered by the College to deliver the controlled acts of spinal manipulation and acupuncture. He is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA), the Ontario Physiotherapy Association, the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists, and the Sport Physiotherapy Division of the CPA.
