Dino completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto in 2016 and his Master of Clinical Science in Advanced Health Care Practice (ManipulativeTherapy) through the University of Western in 2020. His previous education includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology from the University of Guelph, and a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from Humber College. Dino holds personal training certification through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology and has completed additional certifications in acupuncture, manual therapy, concussion management, soft-tissue release and pain management. Dino has experience working with patients of all ages and a variety of musculoskeletal conditions including acute traumatic injuries, chronic overuse injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation. He has a keen interest in treating individuals who have sustained a concussion and has experience with the physiotherapy management of persistent post-concussive symptoms including light sensitivity, double vision, nausea, poor balance, and headaches. Dino approaches each patient with a treatment plan tailored to their specific needs and goals. He incorporates meaningful activities, specific exercises and utilizes manual (hands-on) techniques to address hindering factors and maximize overall recovery. Typical treatments may include joint mobilizations or manipulations, exercise prescription, acupuncture, dry needling, postural taping techniques, soft-tissue massage, and electrophysical modalities. Outside of work, Dino has participated in dragon boat racing, enjoys swimming, plays the electric violin, and holds a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo. Dino participates in weight lifting and circuit training several days a week and has been personal training for over seven years. Dino believes that no activities are off limits forever and there's always a way to achieve what you set your mind to.
