Kevin Hickey graduated form McMaster University in 1991, with a Bachelor of Health Science in Physiotherapy. In 1997 he obtained fellowship with the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapists (FCAMPT). He is the co-owner and founder of Total Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Centre (1996), and Total Physio - Peterborough Clinic site (2004), both located in Peterborough, Ontario. Both clinics offer physiotherapy and massage therapy, with Total Physiotherapy also offering kinesiology services, ergonomics, functional capacity assessements, and hydrotherapy. Kevin is a registered instructor with the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. He has taught a number of post graduate courses, presented at conferences, and is involved in ongoing clinical mentoring within his facilities. He is an avid runner and triathlete. He dedicates many hours to sport medical coverage locally, provincially, and nationally. These include Pan Am Games (1999), Canadian Soccer Association (1989-1991), Peterborough Petes OHL Hockey (ongoing), Peterborough Senior Lakers lacrosse (ongoing), Ontario Winter Games (1998), Subaru Triathlon Series (ongoing), Trent University varsity rowing, etc.
