Shaun graduated from the Physiotherapy Program at the University of Western Ontario in 1997, and in 2000 completed a Masters degree at Curtin University in Perth, Australia in the area of orthopaedic physiotherapy. In 2013, he completed a post-professional Doctor of Physical Therapy diploma through the EIM Institute of Health Professions in the United States, with a focus on musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
Shaun served six years on the executive (two as president) and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists. He is an adjunct lecturer in the Physiotherapy program at the University of Toronto, has been a clinical mentor for students at the University of Western Ontario and is currently Chair of the Musculoskeletal Therapy Steering Committee of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Shaun’s practice focuses on patients with complicated musculoskeletal disorders of the spine and extremities, and his caseload includes a wide cross-section of people from the surrounding community, from athletic kids to active seniors. He is also a physiotherapy provider to the members of the Canadian Forces at Base Borden, just outside of Barrie. He continues to work with athletes of all abilities, including national and international-calibre competitors.
