Lori's passion is to help athletes and people wanting to be more physically active, improve their physical function and performance, post injury or dysfunction. Using a movement based approach to assessment and treatment, she aims to find the cause of injury and dysfunction, in order to successfully return to full function. She uses a variety of tools such as manual therapy, soft-tissue techniques, taping, acupuncture, education and especially movement and exercise to help patients achieve their personal goals; whether that 's to compete internationally or to be able to go up a flight of stairs. Lori graduated from Queen 's University with a Master 's degree in Physical Therapy in 2009 after obtaining her Bachelor 's of Physical and Health Education at the University of Toronto. At U of T, she competed on the Varsity Blues Track and Field team in pentathlon/heptathlon. Lori furthered her education by completing the Master of Clinical Science in Manipulative Therapy program in advanced orthopaedics from University of Western Ontario. Lori has completed her FCAMPT certificate in manual therapy, NSCA Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification, Gunn IMS and has taken many courses including acupuncture, soft tissue release and running injury mechanics. Lori has over 10 years experience working in Orthopaedic physiotherapy with a variety of clientele including rehabilitation of Olympic and professional athletes.
