Sarah is a registered physiotherapist who offers a client-centred and biopsychosocial approach to care. She integrates clinical expertise and post-graduate training in manual therapy and exercise, with yoga, acupuncture, and mindfulness practices.
After having her own children, Sarah was also inspired to become a women’s and paediatric pelvic health physiotherapist.
Sarah obtained a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2008 after earning an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology from McMaster University in 2005. A commitment to continuing education and a compelling drive to further understand the complexities of the body inspired Sarah to pursue a Masters in Clinical Science in Manipulative Therapy from Western University in 2013 and to become a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT).
Sarah is also a certified yoga instructor with specialized training in prenatal and restorative yoga as well as yoga for scoliosis. Sarah’s strength as a yoga teacher is rooted in the union of her knowledge of anatomy and her warm and caring nature. Sarah strives within each class to meet the needs of every student and for each student to know the class was meant just for them. Most of all, Sarah wishes to share the benefits of yoga with every “body”
