Shannon started her career in Victoria, BC in 2001. She worked both in the acute hospital setting and in private practice for the first few years. As her practice evolved towards filling the needs of her patients in private practice, she pursued post-graduate education to fill those needs. She has a certificate from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (CAFCI) from 2003 and a certificate from the Institute for the Study and Treatment of Pain (ISTOP) in Chan Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (CGIMS) from 2005. She attained her FCAMPT designation in 2008 from the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She returned home to Cornwall, Ontario in 2014 where she resides with her husband and son close to extended family. She loves any activity in the outdoors particularly gardening and kayaking.
