Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Physical Therapy
My goal is to work collaboratively with my patients to ensure they receive the best care possible. My combined years of experience and personalized approach is what truly sets me apart from other Physiotherapists. I am wholly committed to the health and well-being of all my patients and am truly passionate about helping them reach their optimal level of health. It’s my job to help them live their best life. I graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Physical Therapy in 2006. I went on to complete my post-graduate training and earned my Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Later, I became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). I have also completed training in Acupuncture, Pelvic Health including Urinary Incontinence & Peadiatric Bedwetting and received my certification in Integrated Dry Needling. Throughout my career, I have worked in various outpatient orthopaedic settings and have worked with patients of all ages. My educational background and practical experience have lead me to great success in treating a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. My personalized approach of incorporating the use of manual (hands-on) therapy techniques, individualized exercise programs, acupuncture, dry needling, and patient education is what makes me an effective practitioner. When not working, you can find me looking for ways to challenge myself. I enjoy continuing my education by taking new physiotherapy courses and taking up new hobbies like creative web design. But most of the time you’ll find me enjoying life with my husband and three young kids. The only thing I love more than my amazing career is my four favourite people!
