CAMPT Member Profile
BSc MScPT
I graduated with a Masters of Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in Halifax, N.S. in 2010 as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Human Resource Management Diploma from St. Mary's University in Nova Scotia, 2004. I completed my diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy from the Orthopaedic Division of the CPA in 2020. I grew up in St. John's NFLD, lived in Halifax, NS for 12 years and have been calling beautiful Fort McMurray home since 2011. I served for 8 years in the Canadian Forces as both a Non-Commissioned member as well as a Commissioned Officer prior to undertaking a new career as a Physical Therapist. In 2011, I moved to Fort McMurray and started my career at Northern Lights Regional Health Centre as an In Patient Physical Therapist and then progressed to the Out Patient department. I also worked Part-Time as a Private Practice Therapist before deciding to becoming a full-time Private Practice Practitioner. I immediately fell in love with Private Practice and began working part time on my diploma in Advanced Orthopedic Manual and Manipulative Therapy with the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physical Therapy Association. I spent three years building a strong caseload and great rapport with the Fort McMurray community before taking the plunge to open my own clinic, Accel Physical Therapy and Massage. My treatment plans include manual therapy, functional dry needling and I place a strong emphasis on home exercises and goal setting with my patients to achieve their therapeutic goals. I am friendly, out-going and motivated to get my patients back to feeling like themselves. I treat all of the following populations: Athletic, post-surgical, geriatric, pediatric, WCB, neurological, motor vehicle, and cardio-respiratory. If you’re serious about getting results and you want to have fun while working hard, book with me now. I am a proud father of four boys and love spending quality time with them.
