Sarah graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy (2002), as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology (1999). She has completed extensive and advanced postgraduate education in orthopaedic manual therapy, and acupuncture training with The Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute. In 2017 she achieved Fellowship status in the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy. She utilizes manual therapy, individualized exercise programs, acupuncture and education for injury prevention as key strategies for treatment.
Sarah has extensive experience in prevention of running injuries, and has a special interest in foot and ankle problems. She is trained in the assessment and fabrication of orthotics by The Orthotic Group. She is certified to deliver the GLA:D Canada program for hip and knee osteoarthritis. She also offers Craniosacral Therapy and has completed post-graduate training in mindfulness-based stress reduction.
