Diploma of Manual and Manipulative Physical Therapy, Certified in Acupuncture and Gunn Intramuscular technique (dry needling), Sport Physical Therapy Certificate
Adrienne completed her undergraduate degree from Ryerson University with a BFA in Dance, and her Dance Instructor’s Certificate with the Royal Academy of Dance. Her career as a dancer eventually brought her into the care of a physiotherapist, and so a new journey began at UofT in 2006. Since graduating in 2008, Adrienne has trained extensively in manual therapy, achieving the highest designation in orthopaedic physiotherapy in Canada. She also holds her Sport Certificate (concussion assessment, taping, bracing) and works regularly with the national teams for wheelchair basketball - a great game you should check out if you haven’t already!
Drawing from her clinical skills and experience, Adrienne is able to diagnose and treat with greater specificity to help her patients return to their activity more quickly. She believes that a clear understanding of an injury is key to its resolution, and this is achieved with careful assessment and good patient-therapist communication.
