Anne graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy in 2010. She became a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy in 2014 and uses advanced manual techniques as well as client-specific exercises to enhance her treatments. Anne is a certified Gunn IMS practitioner and is trained in vestibular and concussion rehabilitation in order to treat vertigo, dizziness and balance problems. Anne has worked in private practice since graduating and was the physiotherapist for Team Canada Men’s and Women’s ParaVolleyball program from 2010-2017. She accompanied the program to Toronto2015 ParaPanAmerican Games and the Rio2016 Paralympics as well as many other international tournaments. Anne also worked as part of a multidisciplinary team in Early Childhood Services providing consultation and intervention to pre-school aged children with special needs. Anne played 5 years of varsity volleyball during her post-secondary education and coached various club and high school volleyball teams. She has a deep understanding of the heartbreak of being sidelined by an injury, and this is part of the reason Anne chose the career that she did. She has a strong interest in treating the spine, headaches and stubborn injuries that have previously been resistant to other types of therapy.
