Bachelor of Kinesiology, Master of Physical Therapy, Master of Rehabilitation Science
Cynthia completed her Master of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia. Since graduating from UBC, Cynthia has received training in various professional development courses such as manual therapy, Acupuncture, Intramuscular Stimulation (Gunn IMS), Sports First Responder, and STOTT Pilates Instructor training. In 2020, she began the Graduate Certificate in Orthopaedic Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy (GCOMPT) program through UBC. For her research study, she developed a Pilates-based prehabilitation program for patients undergoing anterior cruciate ligament reconstructions.
Cynthia’s treatment philosophy includes a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, dry needling (Acupuncture & IMS) and taping to promote recovery and improve function. She believes in using an evidence-based and multimodal approach that is specifically tailored to guide each individual toward achieving their goals.
