Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics, Masters of Science in Physical Therapy
Jamie graduated with her Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2015. She previously completed her Bachelors of Science in Human Kinetics at The University of Guelph in Ontario, where she worked as a Student Athletic Therapist with the Guelph Gryphons Women’s Soccer team. Jamie spends most of her time either running, golfing or working out. Her inspiration to become a physiotherapist started with her own injuries and understanding the role we have in prevention remains the driving force to her continuing education. Before joining the Cross Works team, Jamie was practicing in London, ON and Edmonton, AB, working at clinics with a focus in sports populations including crossfit athletes, triathletes and recreational athletes of all kinds.
Jamie has completed the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal program through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, Mulligan Concepts, Selective Functional Movement Assessment through Functional Movement Systems and The Assessment and Treatment of Running and other Athletic Injuries to the Lower Quarter through Swodeam Institute. She implements a collaborative manual therapy and exercise approach to her practice and likes to work with all different populations. She works hard to not only solve your musculoskeletal issues but prevent future injuries in the process.
