Rhonda Reardon graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy and in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology. She completed the Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy with the National Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association in 1995. In 2017 she completed a Masters of Rehabilitation Science at McMaster University. She is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy as well as an Examiner and Instructor for the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Since 1995 she has been a part time Instructor in the School of Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University. In 2016 she was the recipient of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association National Mentorship Award. Rhonda has been involved in the physiotherapy profession serving on the Provincial and National executives of the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy. She also is a past Co-chair of the National Orthopaedic Division Symposium. In the realm of post-graduate education, she was the provincial course organizer for Kinetic Control and a founding member of the Atlantic Manual Therapy Institute. Evidence based practice and patient centered care are key elements of her practise. With a focus on neuromusculoskeletal health, her clinical interest is in movement analysis and rehabilitation of the patient helping the individual achieve their functional goals. Rhonda is excited in her role as Manager and Physiotherapist with the Dalhousie Physiotherapy Clinic which supports the physiotherapy needs of the Varsity Athlete, Dalhousie community and community at large. She embraces the opportunity to contribute to the education and research pursuits of the University.
