Scott is a graduate of Dalhousie University School of Physiotherapy in 2013, with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy. In addition to his physiotherapy degree, he received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University in 2011. It was in his role as an athletic therapist with the Dalhousie Tigers Varsity Men’s hockey team during his undergraduate degree that he took a keen interest in the treatment of injury and disease, which led him to the Physiotherapy profession. Returning home in 2019 after working six years in Halifax, Scott is excited to open a multidisciplinary health clinic in his hometown. He takes great pride in being able to help members of a community that means so much to him.

Scott is a strong believer in a proactive approach to solving many of the health issues facing our population and community. As a Physiotherapist, he believes each client’s rehabilitation must be personalized based on their injury, goals, and lifestyle. Clients are encouraged to take an active approach to their own rehabilitation. His approach to treatment includes a combination of manual therapy, personalized exercise prescription, patient education, and modalities when necessary. In 2018, Scott became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy. This fellowship is an international designation recognized by the International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physiotherapists (IFOMPT) in advanced clinical expertise and specialized training in Manual and Manipulative Therapy. Other training focuses for Scott include acupuncture, advanced evaluation and treatment of movement system impairments, and strength and conditioning.

Scott enjoys living a healthy, well balanced lifestyle which includes leisure time with his partner (Megan), their families, and their dog (Hudson). He enjoys being active at Sou Wester Athletics, mid distance running, and sports such as hockey, baseball, and golf. He is a lover of all things food and the Toronto Maple Leafs.
