Surabhi is a highly-experienced physiotherapist who believes in empowering her clients, helping them to build capacity and trust in their bodies. She treats orthopaedic and pelvic conditions virtually and in-person, and particularly enjoys helping pregnant and postpartum folks. Her main interest is in supporting people to rebuild core and pelvic floor strength; return to exercise, intimacy and sport; and manage symptoms like back and neck pain, hip and knee injuries, urinary leakage and pelvic organ prolapse. She believes that you are the expert of your own body, and she guides you to discover how to best support your body.
More about Surabhi: Surabhi's vast education includes a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto, Master of Clinical Science in Manipulative Therapy through Western University, and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo. To broaden her scope of practice, Surabhi has also completed post-graduate courses in pelvic health, Pregnancy & Postpartum Athleticism, mindfulness, yoga, and anti-racism. Surabhi mentors physiotherapists, and enjoys speaking at national and international conferences. She holds an Adjunct Lecturer appointment at the University of Toronto Department of Physical Therapy, and has also co-authored and published papers in major journals.
